- [9:54] Even though the Book of Esther doesn’t mention God, He is powerfully working behind the scenes. Where in your own life have you spotted (or suspected) the "hidden hand" of God at work, even in messy or ordinary circumstances like a marital spat?
- [27:50] Vashti faced a lose-lose situation: comply and risk humiliation, or refuse and risk the king's wrath. When you face the stress of an impossible decision in your own life, how can you intentionally remind yourself that no matter what you choose, God will use it to bless you and others?
- [31:17] Xerxes had absolute authority over the largest empire on earth, yet a drunken impulse and a wounded ego set off a chain of events he couldn't control. In our own lives, how can we avoid making fear-based decisions and instead lean into the true wisdom of God?
